Social Engineering

Also called the art of human hacking, this is a broad term for methods of manipulation that depend on human interaction and usually involve tricking people into breaking organisational procedures or compromising their own security standards. Criminals are increasingly using social media and other open sources to build rapport with individuals and then coerce them into conducting dangerous activities via social engineering techniques, with the goal of gaining knowledge of passwords or sensitive data, access to computer networks or the personal details of colleagues. Sometimes the employee being targeted is not aware that they are so being security aware is essential for all and our training will help you identify where you or your company may be vulnerable.
